How to Paint Water l Digital Painting Tutorial

 Step 1 

Base Color. Easy :)

 Step 2 

Any brush like this will be good.

Set Scattering around 80%. Hereinafter you can keep using the same brush.

 Step 3 

Now use smaller brush. Keep adding detailes. Create shape of the waves.
Texture from Asphalt pack (link below). Brightness 22 Contrast 57

 Step 4  Final

Add the brightest color only a little bit. When finished with painting.
Use dodge tool on highlights and burn tool on shadows. It will create more contrast. I also recommend to sharpen it in the end.
( Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen)
