If you're ready, let's start !
Step 1
Use the airbrush to draw the shape of the fire with orange. I used about 80% density. Try to make it curvy and avoid spiky shapes.
Step 2
On a new layer, take a reddish color and paint on the orange with the airbrush with a 100% density. Follow the curvy shapes.
After that, do this with mouse: take a hard edged eraser with about 70% density and randomly click around the red erasing parts of the edges. This gives it the shape of a flame. Try different densities and brush sizes and move your mouse just a bit around when you do this.

Step 3
Create a new layer and set it on luminosity mode. With the airbrush with around 20% density, paint in with bright yellow. Again, follow the curvy shapes.
Step 4
Create another layer with the luminosity mode. With the brush, paint in with white with several strokes from down to top. Use about 60% density.
Step 5
If your fire is lacking color, make a new layer with overlay mode and set it to around 30%. Paint on it with orange.
Your fire is now done!
Your fire is now done!
