Forest Background Painting Tutorial
If you're ready, let's start !
STEP 1
With your first layer, just make and solid background color with a solid ground color, then draw a bunch of straight lines over it for the tree trunks. After that easy step , start adding things like branches with smaller brushes. It helps to look at something.
STEP 2
Next, since this a sunny forest , Just select the background (if you have GIMP) or with photo shop, just select the solid color layer. Now take a soft brush (fuzzy circle) and just shade it like you would anything else.
STEP 3
Now this step looks hard, but it's not. With the background still selected , just get any of your favorite leaf brushes, or anything you think would look like a leaf if it was green. Now , just go crazy with it and put it ALL OVER THE PLACE !!!
STEP 4
Last step is much like the previous. Except you are putting them OVER the background. Put as many leaves as you think should be there-it doesn't really matter where you put them. They could be floating in mid-air and no one would notice! Put some sun beams in there if you want and then YOUR DONE !!!
Thank you for your visit.
