Simple Tree Painting Tutorial

 Step 1 

1. Do the shape of the trunk, shading simply with a few colours.

 Step 2 

. With one color block in how you want
the tree leaves to look in a shape. For
the sake of this tutorial it'll be rather round but you can make it interesting!

 Step 3 

3. Begin adding depth to the leaves considering layers and depth.

 Step 4 

4. In a teardrop shape start brushing in leaves around the outer edges of the tree
and a bit in the middle. You don’t want to
do this all over or it'll be loo muchl Detail the trunk a bit more if you want.

 Step 5 

5.1 colour adjusted here so there were more purpley hues in the trunk and lowered saturation on the leaves, then highlighted a bit at the top where the light hits.

Step 6 

6. Final adjustments I did were adding a bit more leaves, more colour adjustment
to suit my preference! Finishedl

Step 7 

7. Sliding the hue bar
gives you a cool spooky tree. xD
