How to paint Water Droplets (tutorial)

If you're ready, let's start !

 Step 1 

Do the outline, any shape you want, In a blue colour works.

 Step 2 

Fill in some areas with dark blue, any area is fine.

 Step 3 

Add multiply layer and with lighter blue, brush over some random area to create depth. Then airbrush more saturated blue over bottom part of drop.

 Step 4 

Use light blue and paint around the sides of the drop, Then draw some random light lines in as I have done.

 Step 5 

Use white to highlight where the light source would be, draw a squiggly oval somewhere, lol.

Step 6 

Use luminosity layer, highlight with light blue, more light parts and increase contrast a bit. Fiddle around until satisfied.

Step 7 

It's easy to adjust the shape with distortion tools, like I've done. BAM - perfect(ish) circle from the same drawing.

 Step 8 

Just did the same thing and added that extra top part. You can be messy with this technique.
